Strength and

Conditioning

Our strength and conditioning program looks to equip our players with the athletic skills required to compete at the highest level of the game. Our philosophy is very much centred around long term athlete development and looks to expose our players to a variety of physical sessions from a young age. This helps them to explore their physical potential and sets the foundation for more specific training further down the line. We also encourage our players to take ownership of their physical training programs, which assists them in becoming more self-sufficient and prepares them for life on the road.

TESTIMONIAL

"My son Sebastian joined living tennis after a meeting with Martin Lee exactly two years ago. November 2014.

During these two years his all-round development has been incredible both as a player and as a young man.

The physical transformation has been a credit to both Living tennis and Sebs enthusiastic input, slowly but surely they have nurtured his physical development to create the athlete he is today.

The coalition with Claires Court school has been a god send for Seb as he joined from a state school system that struggled to understand his needs and yet still appreciate his abilities.

The manner that Living  Tennis and Claires Court communicate to ensure that each child achieves to the optimum of their ability both academically, physically and pastorally has been crucial in Seb maintaining a very grounded an appreciative outlook on his present and future career.

Most importantly for me is the living tennis ethos of permanent progress without pressure on the students.

Above all things that have helped Seb mature as a player has been the fact that each child is allowed to grow at the correct level for each individual whilst maintaining the competitive edge.

Whilst all the kids there feel part of a team they are treated completely as individuals in all aspects of their gameplay and personality and the Living tennis coaches never shy from communication with parents or guardians, whether positive or negative there is a constant narrative.

In all well done and thank you so much Living Tennis, more of the same please!"
