Delgado Tennis is the sole provider of Extra Tennis Coaching and Academies Tennis at St Swithun’s Senior and Prep School. Delgado Tennis also delivers an all year round Junior and Adult coaching programme at St Swithuns that is open to all the community.
Our aim at Delgado Tennis is to ensure that all pupils at St Swithun’s and the local community receive the very best tennis provision at all levels of the game.
Our coaching pathway ensures that all levels of players are welcome here at St Swithuns as we have a range of coaching sessions from entry point through to performance invitational sessions on offer.
Our Delgado Tennis Holiday camps are also open to all players from the community.
PREP SCHOOL MONDAY-FRIDAY COACHING
Weekday group lessons are available after school during term time and these are exclusively for St Swithun's pupils.
Years R/1/2 High Fives on Wednesday 4-5pm
Year 3 & Year 4 Hot Shots on Thursday 4-5pm
Year 5 & Year 6 Super shots on Wednesday 5-6pm and Friday 4-5pm
Booking and payment is handled by the school.

Open to all children , camps are not just for St Swithun's pupils.
Monday 16–Thursday 19 October
Camps are for children aged 4-16yrs and groups will be arranged according to age and ability. All levels are welcome!
The camp timings are 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm, 9am-4pm or 8.30am-5pm. You can choose to book a single camp or the full week.

Saturday 9-10am: 4-6yrs
Saturday 10-11am: 7-8yrs
Saturday 11.15-12.15pm: 9-10yrs

meet the team
Hannah has coached at St Swithun's for the last 5 years and is a senior coach for Delgado Tennis at St Swithun's. Hannah played at national level as a junior and represented her county at junior and senior level before moving onto a full tennis scholarship in America. Hannah enjoys working with all levels and has a very energetic coaching style. We are very lucky to have Hannah as part of the Delgado Tennis team at St Swithun's.
Rachel is a new member of the Delgado tennis coaching team at St Swithun's School. Rachel has a strong background in tennis having been a top nationally ranked junior and represented Middlesex county at senior level on numerous occasions before moving onto spend 4 years as the number 1 player at Charleston SC on a full tennis scholarship. After obtaining a full Masters degree in Sports and Science, Rachel moved onto coaching the ladies first team at UCF in Orlando. Rachel started coaching in 2
Philipe started playing as a junior in Trinidad and Tobago where he competed in international ITF events and represented Trinidad. He continued playing socially throughout his time at the University of Bath before getting a coaching qualification alongside his PGCE. He has since had the pleasure of coaching and leading school tennis teams in far out and places around the world such as Brunei and Spain.
Martine worked in insurance and underwriting for over 10 years before joining Delgado Tennis in March 2013. Martine deals with all enquires and bookings related to our junior courses, holiday camps, adult -and private lessons at Braywick Leisure Centre and St Piran's School as well as our Prep School courses, holiday camps and adult tennis lessons at St Swithun's School.
